Participation in the GEOINDO 2011 International Conference is opened to all individuals who are interested in
geology, mineral resources, geotechnical engineering, engineering geology, geomechanics, petroleum, mining,
geothermal, groundwater, hydrogeology, geophysics, environmental geology, geochemistry, tectonics,
earthquake, geohazards, Geographic Information System (GIS), and remote sensing.
The committee of GEOINDO 2011 welcomes the submission of abstracts for oral or poster presentations.
The abstracts will be reviewed to determine its relevance to the main themes of the conference:
- Geology and Mineral Resources,
- Geotechnical Engineering and Geomechanics
- Petroleum and Energy Resources,
- Groundwater Resources,
- Geophysics and Environmental Geology,
- Tectonics and Earthquake, and
- Geohazards
The conference proceedings will publish full papers for oral presentations and abstracts for poster presentations.
Abstracts
Participants who wish to give either an oral or a poster presentation are asked to submit an abstract
no longer than 500 words excluding the title, author’s details and keywords. Abstracts can be submitted as a
Microsoft Office Word (.doc) file to the Organizing Secretariat (geoindo2011@gmail.com) using
the Abstract Template. The due date for abstract submission is March 31, 2011 April 30, 2011
Paper/Poster Acceptance
The editorial board will review the submitted abstracts and notify the author(s) on their paper/poster
acceptance by April 30, 2011 May 31, 2011. A Copyright Release Form (.PDF and .DOC) will be sent along with this notification.
The first/corresponding author must sign and mail the document back to complete the publication process.
Full Papers
Full papers are required to be submitted as a Microsoft Office Word (.doc) file.
Please download and use the Full Paper Template from our website and submit via e-mail to
the Organizing Secretariat (geoindo2011@gmail.com) together with a completed registration form.
The due date for full paper submission is October 15, 2011.
Posters
Poster presentations should be printed out with dimensions of 84×119 cm or 33×47 inches (A0 size) and
submitted to our staff at the reception table upon your arrival.
