Our department run DNA sequencing service by using MegaBACE 1000
and ALFexpress sequencers. We routinely use dye terminator chemistry
for sequence determination. However, cloning and dye primer is
occasionally used with certain difficult samples, e.g. microsatellites
and RAPD products. Samples can be either plasmid or PCR product. Be
aware that only high quality template and primer can generate good data
no matter what sequencing kits are used. Customer can provide us,
enough amount, purified template or PCR reaction with agarose gel image
indicating specific band(s) to be sequenced.
To help us maintain effective service, please provide correctly all
required information into the sequencing order form (word format, pdf
format) and send with sample.
